Kanban is an increasingly popular technique for managing projects which visualises work in progress (WIP) versus a team’s capacity for work. This ensures a team’s workload only stays within the limits of what they can handle. It also allows any bottlenecks to be identified and dealt with. It is particularly common in software development but can be used in any project environment that requires the ordering and prioritisation of processes.
Our Certified Kanban Foundation and Practitioner course provide a complete understanding of the Kanban philosophy and how it is used in the workplace. As well as providing complete guidance on the principles of Kanban and how to apply them in projects, the two exams included providing Foundation and Practitioner certification which demonstrates to employers that candidates have the knowledge and understanding required to apply and tailor Kanban to projects.
Beginning with the basics of Kanban including its features and principles, the course progresses to show delegates how to create a complete Kanban system and use Kanban strategies to meet business goals and scale as the organisation grows. At the end of the first day, delegates will take the Kanban Foundation exam, and at the end of the second day, they will take the Practitioner exam.
