The person sitting the exam should have a degree of real-world experience in Lean Six Sigma work and project application. The delegate will be able to understand a role in not only leading but they are also supporting lean, six sigma, process improvement, standardisation and variability reduction. It helps the individual work on improvement projects and challenges constructive alternatives. The training course has the ability for a person to apply skilled enthusiasm to make a positive feel and mood around a workplace; these are just some of the key learnings which the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt provide.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt provides different aspects of measure training, these include measures basics, selecting measures, sampling, implementing the measure plan and more. The use of the training course providing such aspects are useful to the managerial role as it gives an understanding into many different fields of work. The measure phase is a focus on measurement system validation and to gather root causes. The course has certification in this area especially. All measures include:

The second phase of the training course is to analyse. The analyse training section helps identify the cause of the problem. As data is slowly generated; a small team will collect data and then be reviewed by teams. Later on they decide whether to adjust the data in order to add more information to it. The group of people put an effort into narrowing down and verifying root causes of waste and the defects there are. Analysing is a key source into a workplace as it has the possibility to adjust data positively.
