Chatham

Chatham is one of the Medway towns. It is located in North Kent. In this town, the main interchanges are the railway and the bus stand. Chatham dockyard helped to develop this town. But finally, the dockyard was closed in the year 1984. After the closure of the Dockyard, the site has become a commercial port.

Chatham railway station was established in the year 1858. This station is the interchange between the North Kent and Chatham main lines. This is located between the Chatham tunnels and the Fort Pitt. People who want to travel to Victoria in London can opt for the trains as the frequency is very high at the rate of three trains per hour. The frequency of high speed trains is at the rate of 2 per hour. These trains go all the way up to St Pancras international.
