Bromley

Bromley is a large city in South East London, England. It is the primary town of the London borough of Bromley. It is located 15.0 km to the south-east of Charring Cross. The location of this town on the coaching route and opening of the railway station in 1858 were crucial for its progress and transfer from agrarian village to retail and commerce. The local growth of London in the 20th century, it significantly expended in population and incorporated as a municipal borough in 1903.

 Transport

Two national rail stations serve Bromley. Two larger stations are Bromley south with service to London Victoria (non- stop services, stopping services by Herne hill and semi-fast services stopping on Denmark hill only), London black friars by Cat ford (with two trains per hour increased to Kentish town). Many London Buses routes serve Bromley and connect it with different areas.

 Education

There are many schools and is the house to Bromley college of further and higher education. Hayes school and the Ravensbourne school are the two specialist media arts. There are several independent schools in the London borough of Bromley containing, Eltham college and Bromley high school situated nearby affluent place of Buckle.
